NGC6960 “Veil Nebula” in SHO palette; subframes of 180″ recorded by ASI1600mm Pro on W.O. Redcat 51, mount EQM35 Pro, from 6 degrees Bortle scale suburban sky of Livorno city (IT).

In modern usage, the names Veil Nebula, Cirrus Nebula, and Filamentary Nebula generally refer to all the visible structure of a Supernova remnant, or even to the entire loop itself; this structure is so large that several NGC numbers were assigned to various arcs of the nebula.

Region surrounding M78 in Orion field, recorded in LRGB with Ha integration as boosting luminance.

Subframes of 300 seconds recorded between 20th October 2023 and 13/03/2024 by Takahashi FSQ-106ED with QHY 600M cm,os camera, from Heaven’s Mirror Observatory, Australia – Telescopelive network.

Stunning Ha integration revealing dusts and cloud details; Ha level (stars and starless separate layers in respective layer groups) is applied in Photoshop as luminosity blending layer with pertinent adjustements in curves and contrast/luminosity.
